The Outbound Team Lead provides hands-on supervision on the warehouse floor, directing picking, packing, and dispatch operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures frontline operators perform efficiently, adhere to safety guidelines, and meet hourly output targets.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Shift supervision: Supervise daily floor activities of pickers, packers, and sorters to meet hourly fulfillment SLAs and cut-off deadlines.
  • Briefings & allocation: Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign operational zones, and monitor individual and team productivity metrics.
  • Quality spot-checks: Perform quality spot-checks on packed orders to ensure correct items, proper packaging materials, and shipping labels are applied.
  • Operational issue resolution: Resolve real-time operational bottlenecks, stock location issues, and system exceptions in coordination with the Outbound Manager.
  • Safety & 5S compliance: Enforce 5S standards, safety compliance, and proper equipment handling across the outbound fulfillment area.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse picking, packing, or dispatch environments.
  • Tools & Systems: Practical experience using handheld RF scanners, barcoding systems, and WMS applications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate frontline workers.
  • Physical & Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and handle physical, fast-paced warehouse tasks.
