About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, accurate and computer-literate to join our team.
The successful candidate will work directly on live client systems, capturing and processing approximately 60–75 client orders per day while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity and attention to detail.
You will support an international client in the awards industry, working with client systems, Microsoft Excel and structured operational processes.
This is a South Africa-based position supporting an international client. It is not an overseas employment opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Capturing Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Capturing and processing approximately 60–75 client orders per day.
- Accurately entering customer and order information into client systems.
- Processing individual orders within an average target of approximately 5–7 minutes, depending on order complexity.
- Working confidently with Microsoft Excel and client-specific systems.
- Maintaining excellent accuracy while working at a productive pace.
- Following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows and client requirements.
- Reviewing captured information carefully before completing or submitting orders.
- Meeting daily productivity, accuracy and quality targets.
- Identifying and escalating unclear, incomplete or incorrect information when required.
- Communicating professionally with team members, Team Leaders and management.
- Managing workload effectively and meeting required deadlines.
- Participating in online training, coaching and performance development.
- Learning and adapting quickly to new systems, processes and client requirements.
- Using approved AI and productivity tools appropriately where these can improve efficiency.
- Working collaboratively as part of a small operational team.
- Remaining available during client operating hours to support live workflow requirements. Requirements
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Typing speed of approximately 35–45 words per minute (WPM) or higher.
- Good general computer literacy.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Ability to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and structured workflows.
- Ability to learn new software and client systems quickly.
- Comfortable working online and completing e-learning and remote training.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable working environment where required.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to the agreed working hours.
- Willingness to learn and appropriately use AI and productivity tools as part of the role.

Due to the international nature of the client account, employees must be available to work one of the following shifts:
15:00–00:00or16:00–01:00
Public Holidays
This role operates according to the client's operational calendar.
Employees assigned to this account may therefore be required to work on certain South African public holidays and will generally observe the applicable client/account public holidays instead.
