GRN Officer

SPAR is hiring a GRN Officer in Lagos.

SPAR, a Retail company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Prepare and process Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) accurately and promptly.
• Inspect received goods for quantity, quality, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure all received goods are properly documented and recorded in the inventory management system.
• Liaise with suppliers, procurement, warehouse, and relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of receiving documents.
• Monitor compliance with company procedures for receiving and handling goods.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, and other irregularities to management.

Location: Ilupeju / Mushin, Lagos

• Minimum of an OND / HND / BSc Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in goods receiving, inventory management, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
