Data & Cookie Notice

This notice explains, in plain terms, the technical side of how Talentrah handles data in your browser and where your information is processed. It complements our Privacy Policy.

Cookies we use

• Authentication cookies (required) — set by Supabase to keep you signed in and to verify each request comes from you. Talentrah doesn't function without these; they can't be turned off individually, only by not using the site.
• Google One Tap (optional sign-in convenience) — on a handful of signed-out pages (the homepage, log in, create account, and individual job/scholarship listings), Talentrah loads Google's own Identity Services script so a visitor already signed in to Google elsewhere in their browser can sign in to Talentrah with one tap instead of the usual click-through. That script is served by Google, not Talentrah, and Google may set its own cookie in your browser to remember your One Tap preference — governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one. It only runs for a signed-out visitor, never appears anywhere in the signed-in app, and its absence changes nothing: the ordinary "Continue with Google" button on the same pages still works.

Beyond the above, Talentrah does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes — for example, to add product analytics — this page will be updated first, and where required we'll ask for your consent before setting anything beyond what's required for the site to function.

Where your data is processed

• Supabase — account records, resume/profile data, and application history.
• Groq, and Google's Gemini API as an automatic backup — resume and job-description content you submit for matching, tailoring, and Farah's chat responses. See the Privacy Policy's "AI processing" section for how the two are used.
• Paystack — payment processing for credits and passes; Talentrah never stores your card details directly.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to Talentrah.
