Professional Hairstylist

Shomya Beauty Studio is hiring a Professional Hairstylist in Lagos.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to clients and provide professional hairstyling services.
• Create different hairstyles according to clients' requests.
• Ensure every hairstyle is neatly done with good finishing.
• Handle braiding, weaving, sew-in, hair extensions and wig installations.
• Wash, treat and prepare clients' hair for styling.
• Curl, straighten, blow-dry and style hair.
• Ensure clients are comfortable and satisfied with their services.
• Maintain proper hygiene and keep work tools and equipment clean.
• Take proper care of salon products and equipment.
• Work well with other staff and follow salon procedures.

• Must have good experience working as a Hairstylist in a professional salon.
• Must be very good at creating different hairstyles with excellent finishing.
• Must be skilled in different braiding styles.
• Must be good at weaving, sew-in and hair extensions.
• Must be able to install and style frontal and closure wigs.
• Must be good at washing, hair treatments, blow-drying, curling and straightening.
• Must understand different hair textures and how to work with them.
• Must be able to recreate hairstyles from reference pictures.
• Must be neat, creative and pay attention to details.
• Must have good customer service and communication skills.
• Must be hardworking, punctual and reliable.
• Pictures and videos of previous work are compulsory.
