Medcourt Support Services Limited (MSS) is hiring a Accountant in Lagos.

Location: Ikosi CMD road, Lagos

• We are seeking a detail-orientated and discreet accountant/finance officer to oversee financial management, maintain strict internal controls, and ensure full statutory compliance. In this role, you will lead cash flow forecasting and bank transfers, manage accounts payable and vendor negotiations, execute payroll, and safeguard company assets.
• Your responsibilities include enforcing expenditure guidelines, maintaining rigorous accounting records, and handling statutory remittances such as VAT, PAYE, and income tax while liaising with external auditors.
• Additionally, you will prepare weekly and monthly management reports, develop annual budgets, and deliver strategic financial advice to executive management to solve financial challenges and optimise departmental processes.

• Qualified candidates will possess strong bookkeeping expertise, mastery of accounting software and office suites, and in-depth knowledge of current tax regulations.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, multi-tasking abilities, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
