Full description

Euromonitor International is a global leader in data analytics and market research, providing actionable insights into industries, economies, and consumers. Our products empower organisations to make strategic decisions with confidence, leveraging our expertise across 210 countries and jurisdictions.

About the role Marketing at Euromonitor is being reimagined. We're building an AI-powered growth engine: agentic, automated, data and tech led. A B2B marketing system designed for 2030, not 2015.

Behind it sits an advantage most companies would envy: original research from analysts across 210 markets, and decades of proprietary data built over more than 50 years. Our job is to turn that into growth.

And not incremental growth. We're not here for 10% better. We're building for 10x, and then 100x. That ambition sets the standard for everything we do, and everyone we hire.

So this is for people who want to drive transformation, not wait for it. Restless. Ambitious. More interested in building the engine than operating one someone else designed. If that sounds like you, this is a rare moment to join Euromonitor, and something special to be part of.

Purpose of the role This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, South Africa, with one direct report. It's a build role with a marketing automation focus: establishing the platform, workflows and data standards behind Marketo, then building on that foundation to run and scale it. Foundations come first, but the role also runs campaigns and rolls out personalisation from day one, starting with language and industry, building toward mass personalisation at scale. We're looking for a genuine go-getter: someone who spots the opportunity, brings the idea, and makes it happen.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own the rebuild of marketing automation, currently Marketo: platform, workflows, data and process, plugging into the wider marketing technology stack, and help determine whether it stays on this platform or moves to another, leading the migration if that happens
  • Partner with marketing technology leadership on the wider technology stack and agentic marketing strategy
  • Manage the Marketo-Salesforce integration, own data quality, and maintain attribution and reporting frameworks
  • Build a strong working relationship with Revenue Operations, aligning systems, data and reporting
  • Develop and execute campaigns once foundations are in place, nurture, segmentation, lead scoring and trigger-based automation, and roll out personalisation, starting with language and industry and building toward mass personalisation at scale
  • Manage and develop a direct report, and spot opportunities to embed AI and agentic workflows, championing AI tools including Claude **What Success Looks Like
  • Marketing automation runs as a single, well-governed system, feeding accurate data and attribution into the wider technology stack
  • Campaigns move faster and perform better because the underlying automation, data and personalisation are built right the first time
  • Personalisation is live and expanding, starting with language and industry, on a clear path to mass personalisation at scale
  • 4+ years' experience in marketing automation or marketing operations, with hands-on experience across platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Marketo an advantage, not essential)
  • Proven experience rebuilding or significantly overhauling a marketing automation function, not just running an existing setup
  • Team management experience, or clear readiness to step into first-time people management
  • A genuine go-getter: spots opportunities, brings new ideas forward, makes things happen, and keeps up with new marketing technology and technique
  • Comfortable owning data quality and building strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with Revenue Operations
  • All experience must be in B2B marketing: a B2C-only background won't fit this role
  • Some experience working with AI, whether in a professional role or through personal projects, is something we look for in every hire joining Euromonitor Marketing right now
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage projects with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Flexible work time with the perfect work/life balance
  • Competitive salary with wide variety of benefits like longer holidays, additional health insurance, social responsibility initiatives you can take part in, office perks
  • Intelligent and fun colleagues working in a constructive and inspiring atmosphere
