Electrician

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and dedicated Electrician to join our maintenance team.
• The ideal candidate must have practical experience in electrical installation, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in buildings and facilities.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify potential hazards.
• Maintain lighting systems, sockets, switches, distribution boards, and electrical equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare reports on completed jobs, identified faults, and required materials.
• Work closely with other maintenance professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician.
• Technical certificate, diploma, or relevant qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, distribution boards, and electrical fittings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
• Experience in preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of generators, electrical panels, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
