Glass Factory Manager

We are looking to engage an experienced glass factory Manager. The Glass Factory Manager will lead the operational execution, safety protocols, and processing quality within the glass manufacturing and processing unit.

Job Summary:

• We are looking to engage an experienced glass factory Manager.
• The Glass Factory Manager will lead the operational execution, safety protocols, and processing quality within the glass manufacturing and processing unit.
• This role requires technical mastery of precision glass cutting, beveling, edging, tempering, and lamination processes to supply architectural, structural, and decorative commercial glass solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Control: Oversee daily processing workflows across cutting, edging, polishing, drilling, tempering, and laminating production lines.
• Quality & Specification Management: Ensure exact dimensional accuracy, edge finish quality, thermal strength standards, and defect-free lamination (elimination of air bubbles/delamination).
• Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Manage maintenance and calibration schedules for precision glass cutting tables, beveling machines, tempering ovens, and double-glazing lines.
• Material Handling & Loss Reduction: Enforce strict handling protocols for raw glass sheets to prevent breakage, scratching, operator injury, and material waste.
• Supply Chain & Order Delivery: Work closely with procurement and logistics to manage float glass stock, specialized interlayer films, edge-grinding consumables, and timely customer delivery.
• Safety Leadership: Maintain high-level safety protocols regarding heavy glass handling, suction lifter usage, and mandatory protective gear compliance.

Location: Abuja (FCT)

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Glass/Ceramic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in architectural/industrial glass processing, with at least 4 years in direct factory management.
• Technical Skills: Direct operational knowledge of automatic glass cutting lines, edge polishing machinery, tempering furnace parameters, and lamination autolaves/films (PVB/EVA).
• Competencies: Precision planning, yield optimization, material handling safety, and technical trouble-shooting.
